The Portuguese Language of Welcome and Resistance Study Group brings together researchers, scholars and those interested in general in communication studies as a way of welcoming and resisting. The Portuguese language, like any other language, has been and can be used as a means of spreading disinformation, hatred and political, social and cultural domination. But it has also been and continues to be the predominant means of opposing domination, through resistance, and of opposing hatred, through welcoming. This is the focus of this research group, which is accessible to anyone who wants to share their experiences, knowledge and research. This page was also created to publicize events, news and publications on Portuguese studies for speakers of all languages.
